1. How ‘official’ is Watch Finder? Are you an authorized supplier?

Watch Finder is an official South African online retailer of all of the brands featured on our site. All Watch Finder watches are authorised and carry a full South African warranty.

2. How do I know I’m not buying a fake or ‘grey’ model?

3. Do all Watch Finder watches carry a warranty or guarantee?

All Watch Finder timepieces carry South African warranties. This warranty is generated by the respective supplier and will therefore differ from one brand to the next. Contact details for authorised watch repair centres are available here, and proof of purchase or the actual guarantee card is required in order for repairs to be considered to be under guarantee. A warranty is no longer valid if it is obvious that the watch has been tampered with, or repaired at a non-certified repair centre.


4. Do you do repairs?

Watch Finder is an online retailer of watches; we do not handle repairs. In other words, we are not able to assist with assessing faults, battery replacements or spares - for that you would need to contact a local representative of the brand.


5. What is your returns policy?

Watch Finder makes every effort to provide an accurate sense of the look and feel of each watch, but if you’re not entirely satisfied with your purchase you’re welcome to take advantage of our seven-day exchange or return policy - provided that your watch has not been worn, of course.

 
6. What methods of payment can I use to pay for my watch online?
Our banking details are not listed on the website - they will be emailed to you once we have received stock confirmation of your order.

7. How do your coupons and ‘daily deals’ work?
Watch Finder offers exclusive discounts on select watch models. To make use of a coupon simply enter the coupon code provided when you’re ready to checkout.

Please note: We do not allow additional discounts on ‘daily deal’ products.


8. How do I know my credit card details will remain secure?
Virtual Card Services (VCS) ensures that your credit card details will remain 100 percent secure. For added security, we use 3 Domain (or 3D) to protect you and Watch Finder from all forms of credit card fraud. At the credit card checkout stage, you will be required to enter a secret pin. If you do not have a pin for online transactions, you will need to contact your bank to obtain one. Once you have entered in your pin correctly, your transaction will be processed.

9. How do I know if the watch I want to order is in stock?
Our website does not reflect the amount of stock we hold for each item. You are welcome to contact us for stock confirmation prior to placing your order; or, alternatively we will contact you if we do not have stock of your item. 

10. How do you deliver?
We use a reliable courier company to deliver directly to your door (currently Ram or Aramex couriers). You’ll need to supply us with a physical delivery address as our courier will require your signature upon delivery, and you may be required to produce your ID and/or credit card. It’s for this reason that we do not deliver to PO Box/postal addresses.

Please note: If our couriers are not able to deliver to your physical address, you will be liable to cover the delivery cost.


11. Do you charge for delivery?
We offer free delivery on all timepieces purchased online at Watch Finder, unless our couriers are not able to deliver to your physical address - in which case you will be liable to cover the delivery cost.


12. When can I expect my watch to be delivered?
Deliveries are made Monday to Friday, during regular working hours. You are welcome to contact the courier directly for specific delivery details.

13. Do you deliver to locations outside South Africa?
We only deliver to locations within South Africa.

14. How long will it take for my order to arrive?
We pride ourselves on our super-efficient delivery service. On average, you can expect to receive your purchase within three working days from receipt of proof of purchase, excluding unforeseen warehouse or courier delays.

Delivery times will vary, depending on your location and chosen timepiece.  

You’ll need to supply us with a physical delivery address as our courier will require your signature upon delivery, and you may be required to produce your ID and/or credit card. It’s for this reason that we do not deliver to PO Box/postal addresses.

• Major centres: 1 to 2 working days from dispatch
• Regional centres: 1 to 2 working days from dispatch
• Remote areas: 2 to 3 working days from dispatch


15. How do I track my order once it’s been shipped to me?
Once we’ve dispatched your order, you will receive an email containing the courier tracking number and the courier company’s contact details. Tracking numbers are not activated until after 17h00 on the day that the tracking number is received. You will need to contact the courier company directly, should you need to change the delivery date, time or address once your order has been shipped.
